How Auragile Technologies collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
Who we are
Auragile Technologies is a training business based in Sweden. We offer live online IT training courses. You can reach us at info@auragile.com. For data-protection enquiries, please use the same address.
What data we collect
When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, and the message you send. If you tick the course-notification opt-in on the contact form we also record that preference. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised data about how visitors use our site (pages visited, session duration, approximate location derived from IP). Analytics data is only collected after you give consent via our cookie banner.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site. GA4 sets cookies only after you accept via our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. You can change your preference at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
How we use your data
We use your contact details solely to respond to your enquiry. If you opted in, we will notify you when a relevant course cohort opens for enrolment — no other marketing. We will not send unsolicited emails.
Lawful basis (GDPR)
We process your contact enquiry on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — responding to a message you initiated. If you ticked the course-notification opt-in, we process that data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@auragile.com. Analytics processing is based on your consent given via the cookie banner, which you can withdraw via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Data sharing and processors
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do use the following data processors who may handle your data on our behalf, under contractual safeguards: Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) and Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (email delivery via AWS SES, hosted in the EU). No other third parties receive your personal data.
International transfers
Google Analytics 4 transfers usage data to Google LLC, headquartered in the United States. This transfer takes place only after you provide consent. The legal basis for the transfer is the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is self-certified. Contact-form emails are processed by AWS SES in the eu-north-1 (Stockholm) region and remain within the European Union.
Data retention
We retain contact enquiry data for up to 12 months after last contact, after which it is deleted from our inbox. If you enrolled in a course, student records are retained for up to 3 years for administrative and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained in accordance with your GA4 property retention settings (default 14 months).
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@auragile.com — we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.
